I got lucky. The calendar that I traded my novel was the same calendar that I began my newsletter, Living the Dream, for my coaching business. I had no thought that as my listing of subscribers grew I would have a fine platform from which to launch the script eighteen months later. Thanks to that list, I was pre-selling my script long earlier it hit shop shelves.
I was cultivating an consultation without understanding it. But today I recognize that having a listing is a goldmine, both for tradeing your script & for becoming your script noticed by a publisher.
